Analyzing COVID-19 liability protections in the HEALS Act

The SAFE TO WORK Act, which is part of the larger Health, Economic Assistance, Liability, and Schools Act, provides under specified circumstances, temporary, focused and limited liability protection for small and large businesses, schools, colleges and universities, churches, charities and an array of other institutions against personal injury lawsuits arising out of COVID-19-related exposures.
