The Paramount consent decrees' final act gives way to a remake of the studio system

For a business that loves sequels, perhaps we are witnessing Studio System Part Deux, The Studios Strike Back. There were some great films under the original Studio System. How can you argue against :Casablanca,” “Duck Soup” or “Singing in the Rain”? The problem was, for the most part, only the guys who owned the Studios got rich.
