Western Joshua tree gets closer to candidacy to California Endangered Species Act protection
Last week, by a unanimous 4-0 vote, the California Fish and Game Commission agreed to accept a petition submitted by the Center for Biological Diversity to list the western Joshua tree as a threatened species pursuant to the California Endangered Species Act.
