California’s new diversity mandate for corporate boards
After testing the waters with Senate Bill 826’s gender diversity mandate in 2018, California has now further committed public companies headquartered within the state to a statutory mandate for equitable board representation with its new corporate board diversity measure, Assembly Bill 979.
