Solano County DA creates task force to investigate police shootings
The Solano County Major Crimes Task Force will be led by a supervising investigator from the DA’s office and consist of seven full-time and part-time investigators from police departments around the county. Task force members would not investigate fatal incidents from their jurisdiction.




Fatal encounters with police in Solano County will now be independently investigated by a task force created by District Attorney Krishna Abrams, who recused herself in July from two high-profile police shootings and asked Attorney General Xavier Becerra to take the cases instead.
