Emory Law dean to take USD law school helm in January
A member of Emory Law’s faculty since 1995, Robert A. Schapiro specializes in civil procedure, constitutional law, federal courts and federalism as an Asa Griggs Candler Professor of Law. He has held several leadership roles at Emory Law, including dean from 2012 to 2017, interim dean and associate faculty director for the Halle Institute for Global Learning.




Robert A. Schapiro, the former dean of Emory University School of Law, will become the next dean of the University of San Diego School of Law in January, it was announced Tuesday.
