Cotchett says he will co-chair group to suggest judges to Biden
Prominent plaintiffs’ attorney Joseph Cotchett, who anticipates a number of remaining judicial vacancies when Joe Biden takes office, said the group — for which he is recruiting attorneys across the state — “is getting ready to look at people right away.”
Joseph W. Cotchett will be the co-chair of an informal group of California attorneys who will advise President-elect Joe Biden's administration on appointments to the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals and district courts in the state, the prominent plaintiffs' attorney said Friday.
