Pinterest to pay $22.5M to former executive
Partner David A. Lowe of Zieff & Lowe LLP filed the lawsuit in August alleging Pinterest fired chief operating officer Francoise Brougher after she spoke to the CEO and human resources department about sexist comments by the company’s chief financial officer. The company admitted no liability.




After months of scrutiny over allegations of discriminatory treatment of female and minority employees, Pinterest announced Monday it would pay $22.5 million to settle a lawsuit by its former chief operating officer.
Plaintiff Francoise Brougher and her attorneys are to receive $20 million. Pinterest did not admit to liability as part of the settlement, a spokesperson from the company confirmed.
