5.7% increase slated for Legal Services Corp.
Federal lawmakers finalized the text of the Fiscal Year 2021 appropriations legislation Monday. The money going to the Legal Services Corporation is $25 million more than last year's appropriation of $440 million, a 5.7% increase.




The Legal Services Corporation is slated to receive $465 million in funding, the majority of which will go toward aiding those in low-income communities devastated by the pandemic.
