State courts put off restart of most trials

In many courts, in-progress trials, and criminal cases involving speedy trial rights are being allowed to finish.

Superior courts around the state are extending their moratoriums on jury trials while others are allowing trials already in progress to continue.

Civil jury trials will not be heard in Orange County through Jan. 29, its superior court announced Monday.
