DACA students get $18.7M from Wells Fargo

Of the amount finalized last week, $5 million will go toward attorney fees. Six plaintiffs will receive $17,000 each, and the remaining money will be split between California and non-California residents.

A settlement between Wells Fargo and Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals recipients has received final approval from a federal judge, who granted class certification to the plaintiffs to facilitate the disbursement of the $18.7 million agreed amount.
