Schiller's scion's attorney says misunderstanding, not domestic violence led to arrest

“This was a misunderstanding and both Mr. and Mrs. [Joshua] Schiller have made clear to me that he did not physically harm her,” said San Francisco criminal defense attorney Douglas Horngrad.

The arrest of Joshua Schiller of Boies Schiller Flexner LLP — son of firm co-founder Jonathan Schiller and brother-in-law to Gov. Gavin Newsom — for suspected domestic violence was a misunderstanding, said his attorney.
