Ex-Nixon Peabody lawyer among Trump’s final pardons

The pardons, issued early Wednesday before Trump’s term ended at noon, mean Anthony Levandowski, the former self-driving car engineer at Alphabet Inc.-owned Google who was sentenced to 18 months in prison for trade secrets theft, will never spend a day behind bars.

A former Google engineer, the former CEO of Brocade Communications Inc. and an ex-Nixon Peabody LLP partner are Californians who received last-minute pardons from President Donald Trump during his last hours in office.
