Acting FTC chair is vocal about protecting consumer data
Under her leadership, the FTC could take an even more aggressive stance in policing Facebook, Google and Amazon.
Potentially signaling a crackdown on privacy and data collection violations in Silicon Valley, President Joe Biden appointed Rebecca Kelly Slaughter acting chairwoman of the Federal Trade Commission Thursday.
