High court rejects petition filed by LA-area special needs students
California Supreme Court denies petition filed by special needs students .
The California Supreme Court denied an emergency petition that was filed on behalf of Los Angeles area special needs students affected by the remote learning restrictions amid school closures.
The Supreme Court issued its denial Wednesday night without explaining its reasoning.
A spokesperson for LAUSD could not be immediately reached for comment.
