ABA guidance on lawyers working outside their jurisdiction
Rule 5.5 prohibits a lawyer from establishing “an office or other systematic and continuous presence … for the practice of law,” in any jurisdiction where the lawyer is not admitted, except as authorized by the rules or other law. See Rule 5.5(b)(1).
