Attorney says DA misrepresented circumstances of BLM protest

San Luis Obispo County District Attorney Dan Dow said the attorney violated the Code of Professional Conduct by disseminating possible evidence to the public and issuing a news release about the case.

A San Francisco attorney has accused San Luis Obispo County District Attorney Dan Dow and the California Highway Patrol of deliberately misrepresenting the circumstances of a Black Lives Matter protest last summer that ended with a half dozen activists facing criminal charges.
