Union attorney nominated as NLRB general counsel

Jennifer A. Abruzzo most recently was special counsel for the Communications Workers of America, the nation's largest union representing media and communications workers.

President Joseph Biden nominated Jennifer A. Abruzzo as general counsel at the National Labor Relations Board on Wednesday.

She most recently was special counsel for the Communications Workers of America, the nation's largest union representing media and communications workers.

Abruzzo had been second-in-command at the labor relations board under President Barack Obama's administration.
