Bay Area herring fishers sue Chevron over oil spill
The lawsuit alleges some 700 gallons of oil spilled into the waters of San Pablo Bay on Feb. 9, directly into some of the Bay’s best herring spawning grounds, affecting the fishermen’s livelihood for years to come.




San Francisco fishers filed a proposed class action against Chevron Corp. saying hundreds of gallons of oil spilled from a refinery into San Francisco Bay this month.
