Fred specializing served on the Calabasas City Council 2011-2020, and was mayor 2013-2014 and 2017-2018.

Half a century ago, at my bar mitzvah the rabbi announced, much to my mother's pleasure, that he thought I was going to be the first Jewish president of the United States. Well it doesn't look like that's going to happen (although based on recent history I still might be too young). But I have had the honor and privilege over the last 10 years to serve two terms on the Calabasas City Council, including two terms as mayor.
