On the eve of the Final Four round of the NCAA college basketball tournament, the NCAA will be fighting a battle of its own before the U.S. Supreme Court. After multiple lawsuits, and over a decade of contentious litigation, the court is poised to resolve whether aspects of the NCAA's amateurism rules violate the antitrust laws. Resolution of that dispute could have far-reaching implications for the NCAA, other sports leagues, and joint ventures more broadly.
