Lawsuit claims physical, emotional abuse of female gymnasts

Eric V. Traut, one of the plaintiffs’ lawyers, said Monday the complaint was prompted by findings from a four-month USA Gymnastics investigation of the Mission Viejo club.

Three female gymnasts accused former coaches at an Orange County club of beating, emotionally abusing and body-shaming them for years while they were minors in a lawsuit announced Monday.
