Special master report in LA water cases may answer major questions

Special master Edward Robbins of Hochman Salkin Toscher Perez PC told the court he has a voluminous report to issue next month that could resolve questions about who knew and did what in the litigation.

A special master will make a major revelation next month with his investigation report into the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power overbilling litigation which so far has led to a federal probe, $2.5 million in sanctions on the city attorney's office, nearly $2 million in attorney sanctions, and a number of lawyers and a department head pleading the Fifth Amendment to questions about collusion.
