Federal jury trials restart May 10 in Santa Ana

The plan is part of the court’s phased reopening of operations and now allows for in-court or remote hearings in the Southern Division in all matters at the discretion of each judge.

The federal courthouse in Santa Ana will begin jury trials on May 10, according to an announcement issued by the Central District of California.

Jury summons began going out March 22 for civil and criminal trials in the Southern Division.
