With the recent outpouring of long-delayed opinions from the 3rd District Court of Appeal in Sacramento, apparently spurred by my January 26 complaint to the Commission on Judicial Performance about egregious decisional delay in that court, it has become evident that the delay has been mostly with criminal appeals.
