Legislative budget leaders offer more court funds than prior years

The Legislature’s $4.5 billion budget plan for the judicial branch is slightly below Gov. Gavin Newsom’s number but much higher than recent years.

The California court system received more good financial news on Tuesday when legislative budget leaders endorsed hundreds of millions of dollars in new funding.
