Lobbyists can’t push all of judges’ bills because of COVID effects
Mike Belote, president of California Advocates Inc., told the California Judges Association the second year of the pandemic has been “severely curtailing legislative output,” the Capitol is “officially open but functionally closed.”




California Judges’ Association lobbyist Mike Belote warned members on Friday not to assume 2021 will be normal in the Legislature.
