Judge tosses 2 civil complaints, keeps 1 against former LA DA and husband
Superior Court Judge Theresa M. Traber said that for the purposes of deciding on a demurrer she was required to accept as true the allegations that Jackie Lacey conspired with her husband to use a handgun to falsely imprison three Black Lives Matter organizers in March 2020.




A judge on Wednesday dismissed an assault and a civil rights action facing former Los Angeles County District Attorney Jackie Lacey and her husband but kept in place a false imprisonment action against David Lacey who pointed a gun at protesters who showed up at their home before dawn during last year's election campaign.
