San Diego bar chides Newsom for personal attacks on US judge

Newsom made the remarks during a news conference after Senior U.S. District Judge Roger T. Benitez of the Southern District ruled that California’s ban on assault weapons was unconstitutional.

The San Diego County Bar Association denounced Gov. Gavin Newsom's personal attacks against a federal judge who ruled California's ban on assault weapons is unconstitutional.
