20% of LA County cities have voted no confidence in DA

The council votes express dissatisfaction but are unlikely to change the way the 19 cities interact with District Attorney George Gascón.

Among the 88 cities in Los Angeles County 19 city councils have passed resolutions of no confidence in District Attorney George Gascón, stating that his directives on charging, bail and reduced sentences are either illegal or will endanger public safety.

Norwalk was the most recent addition to the list, when it announced its council vote June 23.
