An environmental group sued to block the destruction and replacement of the 70-year-old Capitol Annex in Sacramento.
Filed Friday by Save the Capitol, the complaint says the plan approved by the Legislature violates the California Environmental Quality Act. Their attorney, Susan L. Brandt-Hawley, said the defendants have effectively committed to the rebuilding process without preparing a required environmental impact report.
