4 lawsuits for candidates challenge aspects of recall ballot

One recognizable Republican is challenging his disqualification from the race, another is looking to use his preferred title and a Democrat is fighting to get his nickname on the ballot. Another suit is by a private citizen on behalf of the disqualified Republican.

Four lawsuits have been filed against the secretary of state's office on behalf of candidates running to replace Gov. Gavin Newsom in the upcoming recall election.

One recognizable Republican is challenging his disqualification from the race, another is looking to use his preferred title and a Democrat is fighting to get his nickname on the ballot.
