PwC didn’t retaliate against auditor, court says
U.S. Magistrate Judge Alex G. Tse in San Francisco found that Mauro Botta, a former senior manager, was lawfully terminated despite suspicions that he was fired in retaliation for filing a complaint to the Securities and Exchange Commission questioning one of the world’s largest accounting firm’s independence from its clients.
