Judicial Council, 3rd District hire top legal talent in suit over delays
The Judicial Council retained Robert A. Naeve and Nathaniel P. Garrett with Jones Day. The 3rd District Court of Appeal retained Raymond A. Cardozo, a partner with Reed Smith LLP in San Francisco.
The 3rd District Court of Appeal and the Judicial Council have hired top legal talent in their ongoing battles with appellate attorney Jon B. Eisenberg over allegations of seriously delayed case dispositions.
On Thursday, Judicial Council spokesman Peter Allen confirmed the agency had retained Robert A. Naeve and Nathaniel P. Garrett with Jones Day.
