Lasting tax lessons from Michael Jackson’s multiple legal battles

The King of Pop died unexpectedly in 2009. The recent Tax Court victory by his estate was momentous and provides useful reminders of some of the star’s past. Jackson had various legal battles, most notably the criminal sex abuse charges he famously defeated. In that legal battle and others, he paid more than an average amount of legal fees, even by Hollywood standards.
