LA city attorney’s office claims report of cover up is inaccurate, lacks evidence

“The report contains material inaccuracies; reaches speculative and factually disprovable conclusions; lacks evidentiary foundation; and was prepared without notice to, let alone a response from, those individuals it accuses of serious misconduct,” reads an objection filed by the city’s private attorney, Eric M. George.

Saying it contains "inaccuracies" and "reaches speculative" conclusions, private counsel for the Los Angeles city attorney's office filed an objection Thursday to a special master's report that claimed the office and several prominent lawyers engaged in a litigation scheme and cover-up.
