Recall effort is ‘revenge’ for lawsuit, Sonoma County DA says
An owner of an elderly care facility sued over fire evacuation plan is funding the effort to oust DA Jill Ravitch.
Sonoma County residents will have to decide on two recall elections Sept. 14.
In addition to voting on whether or not to recall Gov. Gavin Newsom, Sonoma will have to decide on the fate of District Attorney Jill Ravitch, who says the recall campaign against her is based on lies and half-truths.
