Flaws seen in suit saying Google forces YouTube on phone makers

U.S. District Judge Haywood S. Gilliam Jr. in Oakland questioned whether Rumble has an antitrust case against Google because it's not a competitor in the market it alleged that the Alphabet-owned company has monopolized.

A federal judge on Thursday identified numerous flaws in a lawsuit from a Toronto video-sharing platform alleging Google violates antitrust laws by entering into illegal agreements with phone manufacturers that force them to include YouTube as a preinstalled app on their devices in order to license its operating system.
