LA can't fire half of firefighters, lawyer says in challenge to vaccine

Los Angeles attorney Kevin McBride of McBride Law PC, who represents a newly formed organization called the Firefighters 4 Freedom Foundation, said the city will be unable to protect homes and businesses if half the city’s 1,051 uniformed firefighters are told not to come to work Oct. 19 when the mandate kicks in.

The city of Los Angeles can't run a functioning fire department if it fires the 542 firefighters who filed a lawsuit last week challenging the upcoming coronavirus vaccine mandate for city employees, an attorney for the plaintiffs said Monday.
