Lawyer wins $10M for brain-damaged man, grandson in 2 cases

After two hours of deliberation, a Kern County jury awarded $10 million Friday to a Bakersfield man who suffered a traumatic brain injury after being struck by an eighteen-wheeler truck. He was the second member of his family to suffer brain damage from a violent incident, and the same attorney won both cases.
