LA County has dismissed 124K cannabis convictions

From Sacramento to San Diego, many DAs are dismissing tens of thousands of convictions.

Dismissal of 58,000 cannabis convictions, announced Monday, brings Los Angeles County’s total to 124,000 since possession and use of marijuana became legal in California

The new batch of cases announced by District Attorney George Gascón follows the 66,000 cases dismissed by his predecessor, Jackie Lacey.
