Northern District clerk becomes 9th Circuit executive
Susan Soong, who will start in her new position on Oct. 11, will report directly to Chief Circuit Judge Sidney R. Thomas and serve as the secretary of the Judicial Council of the 9th Circuit. She will lead the Office of the Circuit Executive, which provides a wide variety of services to all of the federal courts of the circuit.
Susan Soong, clerk for the Northern District of California, was named Tuesday as the circuit executive for the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.
