3 judges recuse themselves from Apple patent case
According to the Southern District of California docket, U.S. District Judge Gonzalo P. Curiel, Magistrate Judge Michael S. Berg and Magistrate Judge William V. Gallo recused themselves within days of each other.




A third judge recused himself Monday from a patent matter involving Apple. The recusal comes amid scrutiny of judges failing to step down from cases with potential conflicts.
According to the Southern District of California docket, U.S. District Judge Gonzalo P. Curiel recused himself and Magistrate Judge Todd W. Robinson took over all further proceedings.
