Senate report could be bad news for Trump, former White House staff
Last week, the Senate Judiciary Committee issued an interim staff report on the use of the DOJ by Donald Trump and his allies.

On Oct. 7, the Senate Judiciary Committee issued an interim staff report titled "Subverting Justice: How the Former President and His Allies Pressured the DOJ (Department of Justice) to Overturn the 2020 Election." Although the report focuses on the use of the DOJ by Donald Trump and his allies, the report makes clear that using the DOJ was part of a broader strategy by Trump "to retain the presidency by any means necessary."
