Actor files EEOC complaint against ‘Hamilton’

Suni Reid, who uses they/them or she/her pronouns, said in the complaint that they were retaliated against when they requested a gender-neutral dressing room during productions in New York and Chicago.

Though its producers and performers have said they want to foster diversity and fight for social justice, the musical “Hamilton” has been accused of race and gender discrimination in a complaint a Black transgender actor filed Wednesday with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
