State AG sides with prison guards union fighting against forced vaccine

On Thursday, U.S. District Court Judge Jon S. Tigar said he was going to allow the California Correctional Peace Officers Association to intervene in a long running prisoner civil rights case which has affected the guards’ rights. Attorney General Rob Bonta also appealed Tigar’s vaccination order.

Attorney General Rob Bonta sided with a union representing California prison guards who fought vaccine mandates for their members in one case this week, while opposing the group in another vaccine case.
