LA prosecutors sue DA Gascón over hiring, promotions

“The lawsuit seeks to stop the sitting district attorney, George Gascón, from filling the civil service ranks with political loyalists and financial supporters,” according to The Association of Deputy District Attorneys for Los Angeles County.

Los Angeles County prosecutors announced a new lawsuit Thursday against District Attorney George Gascón, saying he has unlawfully hired political and financial supporters.
