Defendants in securities case accused of withholding documents

The motion, filed on Monday, alleged that Honig should possess a trove of documents, yet he only submitted 332 documents. Several other parties have already produced tens of thousands of documents, according to the motion.

Defendants are accused of withholding crucial documents in an alleged pump-and-dump scheme involving a San Diego biotech company.

According to a motion to compel filed in San Diego County Superior Court, Barry Honig and John Stetson, along with affiliated entities, have resisted discovery and refused to produce emails showing coordinated efforts to take a controlling position in MabVax Therapeutics Holdings Inc.'s stock.
