US Judge Lucy Koh’s 9th Circuit nomination moves to full Senate
U.S. Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, said he had “questions about her approach and reasoning” but gave Koh credit for disavowing an article she wrote during her first year at Harvard Law School in which she stated, “Minority judges still need to maintain the guise of objectivity.”




Federal trial Judge Lucy H. Koh moved a step closer to getting a seat on the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals on Thursday, as the Senate Judiciary Committee voted 13-9 to advance her nomination.
