DAOs present interesting opportunities and challenges

In recent months, there has been a marked increase in the number of decentralized autonomous organizations, known as DAOs, that have been formed. This trend is likely to continue with the recent enactment of a Wyoming law that recognizes DAOs as a form of limited liability company. This article explains what a DAO is and discusses some of the interesting legal issues and questions they present.
